Kid Friendly Meal

I have mentioned before that I have picky eaters. All of my boys are picky. They don't like veggies and only some fruits. And they are just picky all the way around with other foods. When it comes to trying new foods its like pulling teeth.

My sister-in-law gave me a recipe for calzones. This way the kids can help make their own and add whatever they want in them.
You take Rhodes rolls or whatever kind of frozen rolls or bread you want. I use 2 for the kids, 3 for me and 4 for my husband and teenager. Or 3 for them then they can have more than one. Defrost the dough. I do 30 seconds on one side, turn over then 25 seconds on the other. Smash them together then have the kids roll them out.

Next add spaghetti sauce. Just spoon on however much you like. My youngest doesn't like sauce so this is perfect for him. Then add whatever you like. Pepperoni, ham, mushrooms, pineapple, cheese, any veggies you like.
Next fold them over and pinch the edges together. Put on a greased cookie sheet. Or spray with Pam.

Bake in the oven on 400 degrees for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.

We had these for dinner for my son's birthday. He loves pizza but I thought we would try something different. He also like pizza pockets but I don't like the cost or the added stuff to them. These freeze very well and reheat up really well also.
